Effective September 29, 2026

ProjectQ1 provides business revenue reporting. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit our website, create an account, connect Stripe, or use our services. Contact hello@projectq1.com about this notice or your information.

Information we collect

We store account names, email addresses, securely hashed passwords, workspace membership, preferences, session information, and the content you create, such as dashboards, monitors and chat messages. We process subscription and billing references for paid workspaces. Stripe handles payment details entered in its payment forms.

When you authorize a Stripe connection, we import products, prices, payments, refunds, disputes, fees, subscriptions and related revenue information. Customer identity is limited to customer identifiers, email addresses, country codes, creation dates and deletion state. We do not import customer names, phone numbers, street addresses, card details, invoice documents or free-form Stripe metadata. Connection credentials are encrypted before storage.

Our hosting services process request and operational logs, which may include IP addresses, request times, routes, errors and service identifiers. We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell connected account data.

How we use information

We use information to provide reports, calculate metrics, deliver requested alerts and briefings, manage accounts and subscriptions, respond to support requests, and maintain service reliability and security. New-account notices are sent to our operator, not to other customers. Your workspace’s reports and conversations are available to its authorized members. Only connect data you are authorized to share.

Optional AI processing

AI data sharing is enabled by default. A workspace owner or administrator can turn it off in Settings. The notice names the AI provider that will receive workspace data. When enabled, ProjectQ1 may send that provider revenue records, product labels, metrics, chat messages and relevant conversation history to suggest dashboards, select insights and answer revenue questions. Text you enter can include personal information, so avoid entering information you do not want processed for that purpose.

You can turn sharing off in Settings. This blocks new AI requests; a request already sent may finish, and saved conversations and results remain in your workspace. Dashboards, reporting, monitors and rule-based insights work without AI sharing. A change to the named provider requires fresh approval. We do not train our own models on your connected data.

Service providers and other disclosures

We use Render for hosting and storage, Stripe for authorized connections and billing, and SMTP2GO for account messages and the email notifications you configure. Unless your workspace turns off AI sharing, the provider named in Settings processes the information described above. Providers may retain information under their applicable service, security and legal terms; turning sharing off does not retract requests already delivered.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service and people from abuse or security threats, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate protection. We do not publish or resell data obtained through your Stripe connection. Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours.

Retention and disconnecting

Disconnecting Stripe stops further imports and removes the stored connection credentials; it does not automatically delete reports or imported history. Resetting a workspace removes its imported data, reports and conversations through a background deletion process. Account and billing information are retained separately. Neither action cancels a paid subscription; manage that in Settings.

We retain information while needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, billing and legal purposes. To request account closure or deletion of retained information, contact us. We verify your identity and workspace authority, and explain any information we must retain. Backups and records held by service providers may remain until their retention periods expire.

Your choices and requests

You can change your notification preferences, revoke AI sharing, disconnect Stripe, and reset your workspace in the app. You can also revoke the app’s access in Stripe. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, or complain to a privacy authority. Email hello@projectq1.com to exercise these rights. We will assess requests under applicable law.

The service is intended for business use by people aged 18 or older who are legally able to enter a contract, not for children.

Changes to this notice

We will update the effective date when this notice changes and notify you through the service or account email of material changes. Changes to AI recipients or the data-sharing disclosure require renewed workspace approval before new AI requests.
